	In these two pictures you can see the concave (left) and convex (right) decorative bargeboards which are starting to appear on some new housing estates. Easy to fit but more expensive than a normal flat board.

	To the left is the bracing bar & finial and to the right is the spire. Both are based on Victorian design but just like the decorative bargeboards these are also appearing on new houses.

Instead of using the rather expensive spire to finish off the apex of your upvc bargeboard why not choose a flat finial. They are available in all the upvc fascia colours and are inexpensive. The pointed end will tuck under the apex tiles covering the expansion gap of the mitred boards and drop down below the bargeboard.

	This is the ‘Ogee’ style upvc fascia board which is quite popular in the North and East of England. The distinctive moulding will leave an attractive finish to any upvc roofline job
